Credit repair
Credit repair in Dallas, TX, done thoroughly
Most companies glance at your report and chase two or three big items. We review every line on all three bureaus and pursue each error until it is resolved.

What credit repair really is
Your report should be accurate. Ours is the work of making it so.
Credit repair is one part of our credit and debt management services. It means finding the information on your Equifax, Experian and TransUnion reports that is inaccurate, outdated, incomplete or cannot be verified, and disputing it with the bureaus and the companies that reported it. Errors are common, and they cost real money: a lower score means higher interest on mortgages, car loans and credit cards.
It is not a way to erase an honest debt. Accurate information can stay on your report, and no legitimate company will tell you otherwise. What we promise is a complete review, a written plan, and persistence. One of our clients put it simply: we found over 30 mistakes on their reports, and correcting them made a significant difference.
What we look for
The errors that quietly lower your score
We read your merged three-bureau report side by side, because the same account often reports differently at each bureau.
Identity mix-ups
Wrong names, addresses or Social Security digits, and accounts that belong to someone else with a similar name.
Duplicate collections
The same debt listed by the original creditor and one or more collection agencies, as if you owed it twice.
Wrong balances and limits
Paid accounts showing a balance, or a missing credit limit that makes your usage look maxed out.
Late payments in error
Payments marked late that were on time, or a single late payment repeated across months.
Identity theft accounts
Accounts and inquiries you never opened, left behind after fraud.
Outdated items
Negative information that has passed its reporting period and should no longer appear.

Why Dallas chooses us
Personal service, not a call center
When you call The Manning Group, you will not be routed through a call center or explain your situation from scratch. You speak with a team member who already knows your file and the status of every action taken.
We have done this work in Dallas since 1983. Our founder, Stacy C. Notley, rebuilt his own credit after the Texas real estate collapse of the 1980s, and that experience still shapes how we treat every client.
- All three bureaus, not just the one your bank shows you
- Every negative item, not just the easy ones
- Written plan and cost before you commit
- Credit education so the results last
- Debt help in the same plan through debt management

Questions
Credit repair questions, answered honestly
How long does credit repair take?
It depends on how many items need attention and how the credit bureaus respond. A bureau generally has 30 days to investigate a dispute, and some items take more than one round. Many of our clients work with us for several months. We will tell you what to expect for your own report before you begin.
Can you remove negative items that are accurate?
No, and no honest company can. Accurate, timely information can stay on your report, usually for up to seven years, and some bankruptcies for up to ten. What we do is find the items that are wrong, outdated, duplicated or unverifiable and pursue each one until it is corrected or removed, and then help you build positive history on top.
Can you guarantee a higher credit score?
No one can honestly promise a specific score. We do not sell fear or make false promises. What we can promise is a complete review of all three bureaus, a written plan, and a team that stays with your file until the work is done.
Can I dispute errors on my own?
Yes. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information directly with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion at no cost. Clients come to us because a thorough dispute takes time, persistence and knowing what to look for across three reports at once.
How much does it cost?
Getting started costs only the credit report fee: $25 for a single bureau, $36 for an individual three-bureau report, $60 for a couple, or $75 for our single report package. The analysis itself is free. Pricing for any work after that depends on the condition of your report and how much it needs, so we quote it after the analysis, and you get a written explanation of the services and their cost before you agree to anything.
