How it all started
Our founder was his own first client
Stacy Notley, President and CEO of The Manning Group, knows how devastating debt and poor credit can be when you are trying to provide for your family. The Texas real estate collapse of the 1980s left him in financial ruin.
The credit and debt management industry barely existed then, so he had no choice but to rebuild his finances on his own. Using his financial education and a lot of hard work, he re-established his credit and became debt free within one year.
Because he has been through it himself, his knowledge is rooted in real-world experience. He understands what it is like to live under the weight of debt and a poor credit score, and he founded The Manning Group in 1983 to help others do what he did. Read Stacy’s full story.

Credit problems are sometimes unavoidable. Job loss, an economic downturn, illness, identity theft, an accident and other circumstances, some of them completely out of your control, can have a devastating effect.
There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach, and the “free” quick-fix ads you may have seen simply are not real. Lasting results take a concerted effort and an individualized plan.
We do not stop at the “low-hanging fruit” of collections, charge-offs and late payments. We do an exhaustive review of your tri-bureau credit report to identify every item worth pursuing, then work each inaccurate, outdated or unverifiable item persistently, layer by layer.

Stacy C. Notley
President and CEO
Stacy founded The Manning Group in 1983 and has since helped thousands of people restore their credit and regain their financial stability. Known as “The Credit Guy,” he devotes himself to educating clients in every aspect of credit and debt management.
Justino “Tino” De la Rosa II
Director of Operations
Tino has worked in credit and debt management for nearly two decades. He handles every part of the business, from client relations and financial services to resolving credit issues and complex debt settlement negotiations. He knows one size does not fit all, and he is respected by clients and peers alike.
Jeremy Kerker
Director of Finance
A University of Texas at Dallas graduate, Jeremy has helped thousands of clients with their most personal financial issues. He is highly skilled in corresponding with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion on clients’ behalf, and helps people protect and maintain their credit ratings and FICO scores.
Lauren Silverstein
Office Manager
Lauren makes certain every client is kept up to date on their progress. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, she is married to Brian, the proud mother of two children and a PTA president.
Amy Costellow
Office Coordinator
Amy, the newest member of the team, manages the office workflow and keeps our processes running smoothly. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, is happily married to Richard and has three adult children.
