Debt management and consolidation

Debt management plans that make your debt manageable again

When the payments outnumber the paychecks, we help you consolidate what you owe into one plan you can actually keep, and we do the negotiating.

What a debt management plan is

One plan, one payment schedule, one team behind it

A debt management plan organizes your unsecured debts (credit cards, medical bills, collections, personal loans) into a single, structured repayment schedule built around your income. We negotiate with your creditors for better terms where they allow it, set your spending priorities, and keep the plan on track with you month after month.

It is one of our credit and debt management services, and it pairs naturally with consumer credit counseling: counseling builds the budget, the plan pays the debt down.

How it works

From scattered bills to a plan you can keep

  1. List everythingEvery balance, rate and due date in one place, alongside your real monthly income and expenses.
  2. Set prioritiesWe rank what to pay first, protect essentials, and find room in the budget you did not know was there.
  3. NegotiateWe work with creditors on interest, fees and payment plans, and with collectors on settlements where they make sense.
  4. ConsolidateYour debts move into one manageable monthly plan, with repayment escrow accounts where they help.
  5. Protect your creditLate-payment issues are handled with courtesy-removal requests or payment plans, and collections with the least damage possible.
  6. Finish strongRegular reviews until the plan is complete, then a credit plan for life after debt.

Know your options

Debt management, consolidation and settlement are not the same thing

We explain all three in your consultation and recommend the one that fits. Here is the short version:

Debt management plan

You repay what you owe on a structured schedule, often with better terms negotiated with creditors. It is built to protect your credit while the debt comes down.

Debt consolidation

Several debts combined into one payment, through a plan like ours or a single new loan. It simplifies life, and the right terms can lower what you pay in interest.

Debt settlement

Paying a creditor less than the full balance to close the account. It can make sense for some collections, but it can hurt your score, and forgiven debt may be taxable. We tell you plainly when it is and is not worth it.

Debt and credit, together

Reduce debt and build credit at the same time

Paying down debt is the single biggest thing most people can do for their score, because how much of your available credit you use counts for about 30 percent of it. But debt is rarely the whole story. Errors on your report can hold you back no matter how much you pay down.

That is why every debt plan starts with a free credit report analysis and includes credit repair where your report needs it. One team, one plan, both problems.

They have helped us so much! With this business we have also made great friendships and built very good relationships. Would definitely recommend to others!

Questions

About debt management

Will a debt management plan hurt my credit?

A plan is designed to protect your credit while you repay what you owe. Some creditors close accounts that enter a plan, which can affect your score for a while, but steady on-time payments and falling balances generally help over time. We walk through the effect on your own report before you start.

Which debts can go into the plan?

Unsecured debts such as credit cards, medical bills, collection accounts and personal loans. Secured debts like a mortgage or car loan stay on their own schedule, and we build your budget around them.

How much does it cost?

Getting started costs only the credit report fee: $25 for a single bureau, $36 for an individual three-bureau report, $60 for a couple, or $75 for our single report package. The analysis itself is free. Pricing for any work after that depends on the condition of your report and how much it needs, so we quote it after the analysis, and you get a written explanation of the services and their cost before you agree to anything.
