Privacy Policy
How The Manning Group, Inc. collects, uses and protects your information when you use this website or work with us.
Our commitment
Credit and debt work means handling some of the most personal information you have. We collect only what we need to help you, we use it only for that purpose, and we never sell it.
What this website never asks for
This website never asks for your Social Security number, driver license number, date of birth, mother’s maiden name or account numbers. When we need those details to order your credit reports or carry out services you have engaged us for, our office collects them from you directly by phone.
Information you give us on this website
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the topic you choose and your message.
- Free credit analysis request: your name, phone number, email address, the report you are interested in, the best time to call, your goals, how you heard about us and any note you add.
- Payments (Pay My Bill, the Credit Solutions book and Comedy Credit Clinic registration): your name, billing address, email address, phone number, what you purchased or paid, and any reference you add.
Each form asks your permission to contact you about your request.
Card payments
Card payments on this website are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on our website or seen by our staff. We receive a record of the payment (the amount, date, the last four digits of the card and its brand) so we can apply it to your account. Stripe’s handling of your payment information is described in Stripe’s privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, to keep the site secure and working. The site uses cookies that are needed for it to function, such as remembering what is in your cart during checkout. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and requests and to schedule your free analysis
- To order your credit reports and provide the services you engage us for
- To process payments and send receipts

- To keep records required by law and to protect our clients, our firm and this website
When we share information
We share your information only as needed to do the work you ask of us, or when the law requires it:
- Credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion and LexisNexis) to obtain your reports and to submit disputes you authorize
- Creditors and collectors when you authorize us to dispute or negotiate an account for you
- Service providers who help us run the business and this website, such as our payment processor, email delivery and website hosting, who may use your information only to provide their service to us

We do not sell or rent your personal information.
How we protect your information
This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to client information is limited to the team members who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, so if you ever suspect a problem with information you shared with us, please call us right away.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations, and then dispose of it securely.
